Dear Madams, dear Sirs
Following our Center's main goal and vision to establish cooperation with international health institutions, a delegation from Medical Research and Development Center Bitola and one representative of Clinical hospital Bitola, on invitation of Acibadem Health Corporation, have realized the first professional visit to this institution during July 2010.
Acibadem Health Corporation, founded back in 1991, is the biggest private health corporation in Turkey, with figures of over 9000 employees, of which 1500 Medical Doctors, working in 11 hospitals, 8 Medical Centers and several Polyclinics that are operating not only in Turkey but in the neighboring countries as well. During our visit there, we have made a detailed presentation to the Acibadem management team, the General Managers deputy, Mr.Yalcin Nak and his assistants, Mr. Ilias Benveniste, Ms. Severcan Eralp and Ms. Leyla Ataoglu. We have presented and explained all possibilities of our mutual future cooperation in the following domains: health and medical expert's education, knowledge transfer and clinical experience exchange as well as opportunities for short or long term sessions and stays of Macedonian medical doctors in some of Acibadem hospitals in Turkey. We have also used that opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and Understanding between Clinical Hospital Bitola and Acibadem Health Corporation. This Memorandum covers all aspects of assistance in the field of various health care activities, strong support of the development of the Emergency medical aid, professional medical skills education support and medical doctors, nurses, caregivers and supporting medical staff training.
